Hello from Prague – Collector & Gallery Director

    Hello everyone,

    I’m joining this forum from Prague, Czech Republic. I have been the director of an art gallery here for over 25 years, mainly working with contemporary painters — but I’ve always been drawn to antiques, especially porcelain and decorative arts.

    Recently, I’ve started exploring some older porcelain pieces I’ve come across, and I’m hoping to learn more about identifying marks, origins, and history. I’m especially interested in German and Central European makers, though I’m open to all discoveries!
    As well as other antiques I have found on the flea markets in Europe.

    I’m looking forward to sharing some pieces and learning from all of you — and hopefully contributing where I can.
