Glass bottle with moon and sun

Please help me with more info on this bottle. I photographed the markings as best I could. Thanks all.

Could you tell us roughly where you are located or where you found it? That will give us an idea in which part of world we should look.
With a surname like Pieterse I assume you are of Dutch or Belgian descent, but that doesn't necessarily mean you are in the Low Countries.

 

I am in South Africa, in Pretoria. I found it at a charity store. Thanks!

 

A bit lower down on the globe than the Low Countries.
Good to know we are looking at a bottle that was made, or found its way to, South Africa. The 'glassies' will be along later. We are an international forum with people in different time zones, so best to check in regularly.

Just been googling my new charity shop bottle; I have found this same one in the North East of England, UK

 

May be recycled Spanish glass from Valencia. Looks like the type of thing produced there. (And may have lost a cork along the way.) Ah... A Google Images search brings up this variation. I vote new-ish (1980s on when this ware began to be widely imported) and as above.
