Haven't posted as much as I would have liked to, so I am going to put a bunch of recent finds from the last couple of months in this thread. The atlas is from 1872.

    Roseville Pottery--good Ohio finds!

"Knottsville, TN" confused me. Did someone not know how to spell Knoxville or is Knottsville a small town somehere in Tennessee? (It's a l...o..n..g state, stretching from Virginia & North Carolina in the east to the Mississipppi River in the west. In eastern TN we often say that Memphis is as far away as New York City or Canada.) Google found a Knottsville, Kentucky, but Knottsville, TN, remains a mystery to me.

Here's an obituary, where they also mention Knottsville, Tennessee https://www.lohrbarbfuneralhome.com/obituaries/Mary-Cathyrn-Salisbury?obId=3046889
    but ....
If you google for the name of the guy who lived there, in combination with Knoxville, you only get 2 sites with the same obituary. And if you search for the name, together with Knoxville, you get many other results.
Conclusion: The person who wrote the text for that Coca Cola paperweight, also wrote the text for the obituary :D

Maybe it's a section of Nutbush? :p:p:p:p Once upon a time it was two farms and a bottling plant. Now it's not even a dot on a map?

Not surprising that you don't know the song reference, Any. It's an old Ike and Tina Turner cut about the town Tina came from - Nutbush, Tennessee.

To my logic I couldn't have quoted it if I didn't know it:
So since I quoted it, I must know it.:D

Well... now at least. It also wouldnt' be impossible for the Ike and Tina Revue to have gotten airplay in the Netherlands.

And here I thought you were going to say you were wrong, which you were.
But really Ruth?:bucktooth: Do you have to be right no matter what? And do I really have to explain to you again that by logic post #7 (mine) was posted before post #8 (yours)?
I can hardly pre-post a post, can I.:banghead::banghead::banghead: That is Kindergarten stuff, which I shouldn't even have to explain to you.
I lived in Australia at the time (1973), and surprise surprise, it got airplay there too.:jawdrop: All the way across the Pacific, who'd have thunk!:wacky:

And although it isn't relevant in this case, because I didn't live in the Netherlands at the time, of course it was released in the Netherlands as well. The Netherlands borders on (W)Germany, where the video you posted is from.:bucktooth: Another bit of logic, at least to me.
And guess what, we watched Musikladen here in the Netherlands, just like we watched other shows that aired in other European countries. Of course it was all difficult to hear through the noise of our wooden shoes, but we managed, in our own backward way.

Musikladen, this the German show the video you posted is from:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musikladen

Now please, don't ever play a belittling and fact-twisting game with me again. I am clearly not in the mood for this kind of nonsense, and next time I won't be as nice.
