This has no history. But, I love Alberto Vargas. This was in a thrift store. It seems to be signed and it's a limited edition of 500. It's very large. It's just cool. Someone is selling one on ebay for $500 from this edition, and they list it as "authorized signature", whatever that is. It hasn't sold, and I doubt it will. I paid a tiny fraction of that.

This is an inkskape by Jaimee Todd. It's very neat digital art. I emailed her. But, she hasn't responded, and probably won't. This appears to be a piece she sold from a gallery. She printed and had it framed, as she signed the backing paper and not the print. Nice colors on the greatest fighter of all time.

One of our thrift stores runs a weekly sale. 50% off on a certain color, and on Tuesday that color is 75% off. I bought these two prints. They were $9 each. I wouldn't pay that. But, for $4.77 for both, I'll add them to my print collection. They were done by a local artist STEVE CAPALDI.

On the card with the print he has a FB and Instagram page. I couldn't find him on instagram. His facebook is still up.

I'm looking through his photos to see if I see these prints anywhere (his painting is AWFUL), I see someone commented "You killed your wife." On the next photo "Enjoy painting art in prison you POS. Don't drop the soap." WTF? I looked up Steve Capaldi murderer -

Not long after we moved to PA a woman from the next town went missing. Her body was found dismembered in trash cans and buried. Steve was the killer. These are two of his digital art pieces.

This is a real leaf. I bought it from a gallery that showcases this person's work. He's in prison for life. He was 13 when he went with someone older to rob a house. The other guy murdered the owner. Because he was there, he got life. I feel bad. But, he's where he belongs.

<shudders> I’m glad my entire life trajectory wasn’t determined by my ability to accurately judge the wisdom of any given activity, the true nature of other people, or my ability to resist the allure of hanging out with older kids when I was 13 <shudders> Granted, I wouldn’t have gone along with robbing a house, but sneaking in to retrieve something a friend I trusted said was theirs? <shudders>. What’s the name of the gallery? Now I’m curious how he ended up being charged as an adult…

Say what?!? I'd get rid of those digital art pieces. Maybe tear them up, put them in trash cans, and bury them.

    Dude, you're on a roll!

I had to google the place, it was years ago. NancyLloydFineArt.com (I'm fairly certain this is the place) It's in the right area, off the beaten path of New Hope PA. Supposedly there's a website you can purchase his art from. I can't find that.

There's quite a few errors in my version (I bought this years ago). He was 15, not 13. It was a double homicide.

This is a portion of the story I linked below.

Crawford, who was 15 at the time of the murders, had been traveling the country with a fellow drifter and carnival worker, 18-year-old David Lee Hanley.

The murder victims — Diana Lynn Algar, 39, and her friend Jose Julian Molina, 33 — had picked up Crawford and Hanley, who were hitchhiking near a truck stop.

The victims had been beaten, robbed and shot. Their bodies were found inside Algar’s trailer.

Fox TV’s “America’s Most Wanted” featured the high-profile case within days of the crime.

About eight months later, Crawford, who had been in a juvenile detention center in Missouri on an assault charge, was extradited to Pennsylvania, and Hanley was arrested in Florida around the same time.

This is one story on him (Ken Crawford now Ken Sanford)

According to AI, in 2018 his sentence was changed to 52 years with the possibility of parole, and now there are calls for him to be released because he was wrongly convicted. I don't agree with that, and I'm sure if there's relatives of the victims alive, they wouldn't either.
