not the sort of thing you would find in a charity shop for a pound thats for sure

lovely colour has that purple tinge in the light

    some marks to base

i couldn't tell you a date, but thinking not terribly old

    any thoughts or info

Noish. I found a Bristol blue decanter a few weeks ago. Nice piece but seems no one is interested. It goes for fortunes brand new, but then its price decreases dramatically once it leaves the shop. I think the value is in the older pieces as they pump it out by the bucket load nowadays. I think the siggy on yours will be key in what it fetches. Did they divulge any more info in the shop and did you wear a suit when you went in?

Oh it's Steve Baker we have been informed.

Breakables are a doddle. If you break anything just run off like I do.

The 3 the Qing Dynasty vases were thought to be worth £100,000 in total.
PS-I'm thinkin' some of these dim but well-meaning curators might also think 'bout super-gluing them Vermeers to the wall ?
