What type of material are these hankies and tablecloth?

The hankies were $1 each, tablecloth $5. Is there a name for the type of lace? on the hankies? The tablecloth seems to be lace and cotton or linen. Any idea of counties of origin and age on the items? I am going to soak in Ocyclean, should I add bleach? Thanks.

NO BLEACH! Bleach eats some fabrics. I once had a nice piece of tatting with stains on it. Rather than risk cleaning, I tea-dyed the whole thing and the stains went away. :D (Sewed it to a silk backing in a 12x12 frame and gave it away as wall art. )

Thanks. I did buy some kind of vintage fabric liquid that you soak things in. I do bleach the old crocheted tablecloths.

It's OK for some things, but ate a hole in the slip for my grandmother's 1896 christening gown. Mom did that. Fortunately it was just the slip, and it's been used for two babies since that I know of.

If you can get a few well-focussed close-up photos, that would help in determining the fabric/lace/embroidery. :)

    Hi Marko,
I'd love to see closer - in focus photos - front and back. Yes, I'd question using bleach and I'm unfamiliar with the detergent you are using.... they definitely need a good wash. Once wet, I'd refrain from hanging them to dry. Best to hand wash, roll in a towel and then lay flat to dry.
    Good luck,
    Cheerio,
