It's ~8 1/4" long, 1" to 1 3/16" wide; weight is 64 grams. It bears only the 925 tag, with 2 illegible characters (or partials) preceding that, pic 9.
This belongs to the lady in memory care; her husband has asked me to solicit your skilled opinions on when an' where it was made, an' any further comments or suggestions. Thanks for lookin'!

It looks like some things I've seen from India, but better made. It doesn't have a pile of age to it, maybe 20 years at most, but it's pretty.

Bracelets with that type of "clasp" last on my wrist about 5 minutes and then they come undone and sneak away. I lost 2 of that type and now no longer wear them.

I love the beautiful purple stones.

(clasps)took me longer to work out how they worked than it should of (seconds not days) :)

but still a bit of caveman with a lighter going on ;)

    promise it was seconds;);):playful:

Pretty bracelet. India, probably Jaipur, and fairly recent. Jaipur makes excellent quality stone set jewellery.
    The amethysts could be treated.
    I hate those clasps.:bag:

I love amethyst and silver. They look so good together.

Similar Rajasthani bracelets and necklaces are still readily available - this bracelet is wholesaled by a large Jaipur company:

I don't mind toggle clasps as long as they stay clasped. The ones with the bar part made too small are a horror. Then again, most bracelet clasps other than bangle snap clasps are awful. You either can't get them closed or they open on their own. There isn't much in between.
