Featured my First Japanese Tobe Yaki porcelain has gone to the dogs

    I couldn't believe this was just waiting for me to show up at my favorite thrift.
    This little guy is 8" long and is in perfect condition. Sticker on his side is for the Tobe yaki Visitor center. The mark on his underside is Tobe yaki Senzan gama.
    so far i have only found one other, a horse for sale on ebay.
    I just thought he was unique, and I should show you all.

    Either that, or the animal lovers are holding onto them and not many are being resold. Or... they've lost their paper tags and people sell them for pennies at rummage and yard sales, unaware of what they are.
