Good score, although personally I do not see the perennial appeal of this pattern. Sells well still.

His shop is permanently closed - in Canada. I thought I remembered him being from up North. My sister and BiL are probably getting it for Christmas.

The one I found looks like it has almost a carnival glass rainbow-y effect in the finish. My 20 year-old niece is into glass but I dont't think this is her style.

Canadian glass does turn up here. I'm surprised it hasn't turned up there, but then again y'all know what it is.

The charity shop originally had it priced at $300 with no takers. I think someone finally looked it up again and saw what the selling prices are here (pitiful, considering) ...and then I got it at 75% off of that.

Nice find! Used to buy RHAG wholesale and sell in my shop. Thought it the best value among the contemporary art glass makers at the time (very late 80s). Customers were lukewarm so discontinued it after a year or so. Small pieces sold best but, IMHO, were not the best of his work. Larger pieces like this vase and some of the large paperweights were killer. I have kept a few pieces and also pick it up on the secondary market if I can. Pieces are few and far between and would not be surprised if the pieces found locally didn't first come from me. I don't think anyone else was selling it here.

Now that it's closed and gone, prices may bounce up and may not. I was talking with a dealer today who has a store, and Kidsthesedays aren't really buying glass. It's all plastic and paper. That may change in 20 years, who knows, but it'll be too late for most posters.

Lumii_20250901_184723478.jpg I bought a ton of newer costume jewelry with a few sterling pieces mixed in that I will photograph later. These were found to the second visit to a flea market vendor later in the day. $5 for both, Tiffany box. I have to find someone who wire wraps. I want the habille set in a pendant.

Have not photographed much but thought I would get these out there.

Just posted in PGP about reproduction candlewick. Low and behold, I find these real pieces the next day. All for $4.00.

This is not my usual thrift store find. Was in a small town antique mall and spotted this nice sized copper tray with brass handles for $30.00. Only thing worth buying in the whole mall. Seller had apparently missed the small WMF mark, which was on the side edge rather than the bottom.
