Automobile wing window installation tool?

    I've had this tool for many years, I believe that it's an installation to insert glass wing windows (movable side vent windows) in the rubber sealing gasket. Below is the only information that I've been able to find.

    " Auto-Glass TOOLS LOCKING STRIP TOOL VENT PULLER No. CS-1M3 No. CP-215 WEATHERSTRIP INSERT TOOL CLASS' PLIERS"

    From what I can assume is that the end pads grip the glass and the second inner jaws grip the weatherstrip channel, pulling/inserting the glass. It would be interesting to discover which cars it was used on.

    The clamp measures 10 inches from the end of the clamping fingers to the back of the aluminum part.

    It’s a classic car vent glass puller. The “soft” large clamp grabs the window and the smaller clamps w/ the ledge grabs the vent and it pulls the glass away from the trim.

    do you want to sell it? i know some glass guys- not sure what it’s worth.
