Need help on a signed Out West print

    That's what happened when all the shipping services went to dimensional weight calculating. A Larger box, even if it doesn't weigh a lot, costs a small fortune to ship. A large painting that cost $24 before dimensional weight, shot up to $85!
    Shipping costs will be the downfall of internet sales.

    That is true. But most customer prefer framed painting...
    with that said, only sell high value framed painting online

    I haven't been listing this year, but last year, I had several large pieces for sale by listed artists. I still received so many emails complaining about the cost of shipping. Maybe the shock has worn off and buyers are now accustomed to seeing the higher prices. Just curious, what do you consider high value?

    The background looks like Left Mitt and Right Mitt in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park in northern Arizona. I wasn't aware bison were that far south.

    Depends on size. I sold one of 40" I won't do it again for any piece below $300.

    Shipping costs will be the downfall of internet sales.
    Internet sales have increased shipping companies values by 29%

    True but, I read a report recently that there was a drop in the amount of packages sent. Fedex had the biggest decline and that was before Amazon announced they were no longer using them.
