Featured A Whatchamacallit , Bakelite Antique Thingy......

    What is this thing....?

    It's butterscotch amber Bakelite...
    you can hold it in your hand
    it has an electric wire attached to it
    the metal top is spring loaded , with an emerald cabochon
    you can hold it in your hand ( did I mention that...)
    It's so cute, and it makes me smile ....so I just bought it at an antique / vintage store for $25 , just to confuse :confused::confused: all my peeps here !!!

    Oh...and it's pretty as a peach !

    So...what is it ?

    You know the old 'whodunit' game 'Clue' ? That's what the names on this board look like-if I recall it's 1K on 1stDibs. I guess if your vacation house is an Upstairs/Downstairs manse-this'd look cute in the pantry ?

    Looks like this could be a remote switch for almost anything. Wire it into a lamp and position the switch by your chair for example. What they had before the Clapper came along ;).
