I went by the local thrift store today, before starting my estate sale/garage sale , and found this painting!
And because it was labor day weekend, instead of the $75 price he sold it to me for $40.
Any thoughts on it? It has some wear/paint loss on right side - is it old?
Finally, can anyone tell me who the artist is?
    Thank you!

I know I've been trying to upload & the reception is so bad here in daytime its taking forever (even after reducing it!) - and then I must have clicked post it by accident...its going to be 1 of those days!
I'm trying to post photos, patience please! :)

It keeps saying photo too large - even signature which should be a easy one after reducing it?

Well, I like it. The first thing I noticed was the cart and the next was the fact that there are only 3 horses. Definitely not an American scene. But very nice.

Especially not with that 2 horses in front, 1 horse behind - I've never seen that before!

Me either. Usually if it's a troika, the single horse is in the lead. I wonder where this was. Nice painting, btw.

There are 4 horses. If you look between the front dark horse and white horse you can see the fourth horses head.so not 3 but 4 horses.

Now I see it, I thought the 4th horse was part of the mane of the horse in front.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

The fourth horse shows a little clearer here.......LOVE the scene!!!!!
