    Hello community!
I have this beautiful masterpiece for sale.
Reason I am sharing this with you, I would like to have some more information of any kind.
    It is very rare clocks.
Made by Karl Ludwig Elffroth (M:Elffroth in Berlin" is engraved in cartouche composition recessed into the upper part of the brass plate second in size to the main dial. Circa 1780.
Weight 27 kg with 7 dials. 13 silver bells. H 90cm. Very interesting and rare clocks.
I am looking by for any additional information about heritage of Elffroth. And maybe someone will see this and willing to buy. Anyway it is good to discuss with professional community.
    Fully working

Sadly, the poster who used to comment on clocks passed away a number of years ago. Lovely guy -- afantiques -- and he always talked about makers being "some bloke in a shed.":D

There are probably a bunch of Facebook groups for clocks if you are on it, or know someone who is.

That’s a very funny story how not to deal with customers
It is the same clock, yes. One guy asked for pictures, like who said he has someone willing to buy. So he just put it on Ukrainian online auction with 6m usd price. Never asked owner about that. I have that description in English. One from Ukrainian art and cultural treasures institute. And one from German museum. Both the same, but not a lot of information. A lot of “water” really. Even when it is about technical details. And I am trying to find something about maker, some good facts, maybe photos. But looks like the only way - contact museums directly.

It is Ukrainian description. I have this document. And yes it is the same clock (pls have a look for previous reply from myself).
    Huge clock.
There is nice provenance, but it is not enough time for me to confirm it unfortunately.

Astronomical clocks like this were made by French and German clockmakers mostly. French more beautiful, with a lot of enamel and bright colours. One (from 1760) is on sale today for 6 million euros. All the details, dials etc are mostly the same except decoration. German clocks - more wood, brass and dark colours.

    much more fun here
He asked for pictures from owner. And said - he will show them to some potential buyers. But yes he created a listing (with screenshots!!!) and disappeared after. That’s not how it works. And price is unreal in my opinion. He just tried to sell it for max retail value with no discussion with owner. I am happy to sell it much less. Now I have exclusive rights to sell it on the side of owner interests. It is the same owner now and that time.
