    The artist was born in Laos and studied in Paris. I guess those are rice pickers.

    It's so stylized and crisp, it's really quite nice. Is it an original? Gouache?

    It's acrylic and I know the artist pretty well...it's my mom :) It was very fun to find an old painting she made.
