Featured Help ID name on photograph

Hello I picked up this photograph at my local thrift store. It was in a contemporary frame and I didn't realize that the photograph was older than the frame until I had it in my hands looking closer at it. When I got home to take it out of the frame it was taped to the back of the frame so I slowly took the tape off. The busts looks like an old museum piece. Has a real moody interesting look. As I turned over the photograph I saw this name "Frederick O bern" or something like that but couldn't find anything. Also has the word "chicago" but very faintly and I know its hard to see since I put it in a acid free envelope but I think it may say "institutional" or "institute". I am wondering if anyone could help with the name? Thank you for any information. Sorry for the reflection or glare.

 

Frederick O. Bemm. Staff photographer at the Art Institute of Chicago. Can't find exact dates but he seems to have been there from (roughly) 1900 to 1930.

Name on the front is definitely "George". Surname looks like "Ru...l(?)..." ?
