I thought this was cool. All the panels are ships. Anyone know where it was possibly made and when?

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Nice! Do any of the ships have names on them? There are marks, but some look just like lines. In your second photo, the one closest to the bottom of the picture might have a name on it?

    Thank you @2manybooks
I was thinking Japanese also. I have found the same bracelet, but with Japanese themes. Maybe all these are of the Yomato? Now that would be cool!

The Yamato is just one example. There were other similar ships during that period.

Can't tell from the photos if it is faux Damascene from Toledo, Spain or actual Japanese made.

It is definitely Japanese. But it looks like Japanese faux damascene, in which the blackened metal looks more like lacquer and the entire piece is closer to champlevé enamel in appearance.

I have a Japanese faux damascene necklace, and discovered that there is interest in it.

The necklace is Japanese without a doubt. The bracelet metalwork is all Japanese too, even if the ships hadn't been. That would have been weird, but weirder things have happened.

The necklace is also faux damascene. And of course Japanese, as you said, you know your Japanese scenes.;):)
