These 2 were in the same wood frame, which I had to throw away as the frame and backing mat was water damaged. They each have a print on the back as well, that when lying next to each other vertically, other depicts a different Picasso lithograph...possibly. I stupidly threw away the backing mat which actually said Picasso and the studio where it came from, but I didn't know this was a Picasso and due to the water damage and because thought someone used an old backing mat not related, I threw it away. The last photo are the two of the backs. IMG_9328.jpeg IMG_9330.jpeg IMG_9334.jpeg I bought at an online auction many years ago and do not remember which one even. They measure 10 1/2 inches by 7 3/8 inches each. Any information would be appreciated.

To me these lithographs don't "feel" like picasso. They seem too vague in their esthetic message, feel or structure. A real picasso gives the viewer an "ah hah" moment, like they're seeing something esthetically well defined and different, even if it is a squiggly line drawing by picasso. These lithos seem to me to be a bit too disorganized cognitively, almost like rorschach inkblots. There is some perhaps some esthetic effect, but it seems too esthetically unbalanced to be picasso. If they are picasso they would be weaker works done at his later ages when maybe he had less cognitive control over the work and less youthful creative "focus."

Thhis one, from 1960, has the Tate's blessing:

And this, from some lesser authority on 1st dibs, from 1959:

You can compare the way '59' is written on yours & this second one.

One behind the other or both visible? I find it really curious that they are printed on both sides, like the paper was reused.

Hoping now that this thread has been bumped back up that some of our knowledgeable print people will weigh in.
