Featured Help Identify Delphite Blue Glass vase

Hi, Folks-
I'm wondering if anyone might have information about this 12" glass vase. That "delphite" shade of blue is not particularly common. It's a periwinkle color. It had the grime of the ages on it when found. That may not be helpful but just saying. There is a prominent straw mark on the interior, a flaw we've found before in this color glass. Love to know who made it and when. Thanks in advance.

 

I collected delphite for many years. I haven't seen this particular piece ever so I can't help you, but the color is lovely.

 

We found a couple examples online but no one identifies. We love that shade of blue too in glass. Something about it.

I've always been of the belief that if you can hold it up to the actual sunlight and see the opalescent glow around the edges of the thinner parts of the glass, it is delphite.

Now, that being said, I am not sure that gold in the glass mix to create this mild opalescent effect is necessary for it to be called delphite blue in color.
