It is marked with a hand painted blue mark under the glaze. It’s a crown over two letters and I wondered if it is a Ludwigsburg piece. There are similar Ludwigsburg marks in Röntgen but this mark is unclear

In addition there is an incised number and another number strangely placed on the inside of the foot rim in underglaze blue.
    Any thoughts?

It might be Frankenthal from 1786. Similar to this plate. Your mark looks like the crown CT mark with one dot and an 86 for 1786.

Found this older thread with some of the Rontgen's marks. So many of the marks in there have been criticized so I'm never sure what to think.

Excellent. I’m sure that it is the same maker. As long as the seller is correct mine is Frankenthal

Thanks so much for the help. I’ve checked Frankenthal pieces in the V&A collections and I’m sure that it is from that factory.
