Hello! We purchased this sideboard/washstand recently. I was told it belonged to the gentleman's wife's grandmother and that is all that they knew. While it would be neat to determine the maker and age of the piece (I know it is missing the top), I am really trying to find reproduction (or original) hardware. If you have any leads, I would really appreciate the information.

Lots of replacement hardware on eaby, both new and old. Besides ebay, a general google search will provide more options. Search, Victorian brass drawer pull. Would have taken pressed brass hardware similar to this with some fancy knobs for the doors.

Pulled this pic from the internet. For some reason, they are picturing this with the bail upside-down

If you have one anywhere near you, check a architectural salvage business. Many are open to the public. One close to me has bins of hardware.
