hey guyz - long time - this is a full size beverage jug - the pitcher is VERY heavy - spiral / swirl with applied green handle - hex star type bottom reminiscent of Heisey wares - I keep getting a Duncan Miller vibe but I haven’t been able to nail a positive identification - appreciate any insights - advanced thanxies IMG_1363.jpeg IMG_1367.jpeg IMG_1368.jpeg

    Check Tiffin Glass.
Not sure who made it. But Tiffin made some bi colored Glass lines.

I think neither Heisey nor Duncan. It looks a bit "newish" to me based on observations of the base. I've not seen this pattern before.

it is definitely not new - it is definitely old - the bottom outer rim has a LOT of wear - the quality is very high - I have nearly 50 years of experience handling glasswares - it’s old - at first I thought it could be 40’s but I keep thinking it is now even earlier - maybe 1910-30ish

@Rclinftl, I'm not that knowledgeable about this, so did an image + AI search with Google....here is what they had to say.....and their reasoning for their choice in the 2nd paragraph: (Hope you find it!!! I also blurred out the background...)

"While the jug in the image shares some characteristics with pieces from Fenton, Murano, and Tiffany, Murano is the most likely maker due to the distinctive swirling pattern and the vibrant, often iridescent quality of the glass, which are hallmarks of Murano glassmaking techniques.

Murano glass is renowned for its elaborate designs, including swirling patterns and the use of rich colors, often with a luminous or iridescent finish, which are evident in the depicted jug. While Fenton also produced decorative glass, including pitchers, their style often leaned towards opalescent or hobnail patterns, and Tiffany is known for its distinctive leaded glass lamps and art glass, which typically differ in aesthetic from the jug shown."

that’s so interesting! Never knew ai identification was even a thing - I am so 20 years ago - appreciate the effort - while the jug is exceptional quality it has a seam - and the hex star type bottom are a certainty that this is mold and not hand thrown - thus it rules out murano or any other art glass genre
