@Northern Lights Lodge, here are a few more vintage pieces from the family collection. I believe these are all typical crocheted items? These are various sizes from about 5" to 18" round, as well as some variation of thread size. What I believe to be for use on chair backs are rectangular-ish up to about 28" X 12". The long table runner is about 65" x 15".

Welcome Beach Bum-Thanks for sharing the beautiful crochet pieces-we rarely see Antimacassars here. These were an absolute staple of the antique stores of my childhood.
The work and focus involved in making these was formidable.

I always buy them if I see them at jumbles, admire the end work and the skill.

    Hi again @808Beachbum,
Sorry I was late getting to the party! We've been out of town - so just found your posts! Oh, goodie, goodie!

Let's see: Yes, all but the last one are crochet.
    #1 crochet
#2 "filet crochet". Still worked with a crochet hook, but the result looks much like filet netting
#3 crochet; but the design is reminiscent of tatting
    #4 all crochet pieces
#5 darling filet crochet bird pattern! LOVE it! If I had to guess... 1930's
    #6 pink crochet piece - probably 1950's
    #7 crochet
    #8 and 9 - crochet in a 'thistle" pattern
#10 pretty hand filet net - this one strikes me as late 1910's or 1920 (like your previous posts) :)

I'll go check out your other new post!
    Cheerio, Leslie
    Thanks for sharing!
