This is about 12 1/2" long, the handle is 1 3/16" wide at the big end an ~7/16 thick; the bowl is 3 11/16" long inside, measured 90 degrees from the flat side between the handle an' the oddly-placed pour lip. Weight is ~80 grams. Its capacity might be as much as 7 oz; its walls are uniformly thin, at ~1/8". There are no tool marks; it is very smoothly finished, sweet in the hand. I doubt machinery was employed in its making, but I could be mistaken.
I use it for baked beans, thick pea-soup, chili an' chowder; 2 scoops are a generous serving.
Does it look at all familiar to any of you? Thanks for lookin'!

Love the shape on this one Whit-first thing comes to mind is 'Danish Modern'. Sorry, but can't help w/ ladle #1-basic & generic bit of folk whittlin', shape and technique could be anything form Poland to Appalachia ?
Don't abandon hope sir-My ignorance of homegrown folk utensils is huge.
