This tool is stamped: ALBRECHT - SONVE CO. MAPLETON'S RELIABLE OUTFITTERS. It is just under 7" in length and the thin metal piece slides back and forth. I believe this came from my grandparent's farm in Indiana, age unknown. I tried a tool identification app on my phone which identified it as a button hook tool, which is not right. I can't find any information on the company. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks!
Wow, so an old can opener! It would apparently work like this one: https://www.tiktok.com/@taraskuloffical/video/7343714185055866143
