My wife bought a Lloyd Loom desk & chair and table set.
We're assuming these pieces are from between 1917-1920 but not certain.
Our limited research indicates the Lloyd Loom patent was issued in 1917 and then Lloyd Loom sold British rights to Lusty & Sons in 1921 (not sure if relevant). My wife also found a web posting for a similar table on Dearing Antiques where the ad stated between 1915-1920.

All pieces are in very good shape; biggest issue is some wear on the tops.
They look original and don't appear to have ever been refinished.

    Any clue(s) regarding:
    Age?
    History?
    And most importantly value?

    Thanks,
    Steve

In the UK they were more popular in the 90's, not so much now, I would say 1920's.
They are made of tightly twisted paper wrapped around a wire core.

    @komokwa - Thanks for reply.
We're in the Dallas / Fort Worth Texas area (Parker County, immediately west of Fort Worth) - My wife and my mom found this at a thrift resale shop in Weatherford TX; $20 total for all three pieces.

Any recommendations for a value appraisal either online or locally in the Fort Worth area?

    Thanks / Best

An appraisal will be expensive, and you have to consider if it is worth it. Try googling sold similar sets first, to see what the price range is.

You are probably right on the dating. Think you can compare to most any similar, as the name will not bring a premium. The only wicker that does bring a premium is Heywood Wakefield so don't compare to it. Not a lot of value here in the Midwest any more. Hate to say, your low purchase price probably indicates the same there.

Might add that condition would make these a hard sell despite their originality. Paint them up and try to sell in the Spring when wicker generally sells better.

Ironically we were debating painting/re-finishing VS leaving as-is/original.
My mom was thinking to paint; my wife was thinking to leave original (thought process they may be more valuable orig) - I'll defer to them; at least they both get along very well and are on same page on stuff like this for the most part...

Interestingly, Lloyd Loom does have an association with Heywood-Wakefield. This is a screenshot from the Lloyd Flanders website, currently manufacturing Lloyd Loom wicker.

For some reason, what they don't mention is that Heywood-Wakefield bought the rights to Lloyd Loom's woven wicker technology in 1921 and went on to popularize it.
So it does seem that your set would date from 1917-21, since your label doesn't mention Heywood-Wakefield.
It's a pity that this stuff isn't really popular anymore. I agree with what others are indicating here, an appraisal is likely to cost more than the value of the items and your own purchase price is an indicator of current desirability.
People are more familiar with the Heywood-Wakefield name, not the Lloyd Loom name.
On the other hand... you never know! :)
Current eBay item 325551715524 is your desk/chair, painted black, with an asking price of $900. (Note the label on that set does mention Heywood-Wakefield.)
I, for one, like the original finish on yours and wouldn't paint it.

Yep, my mom found that same desk/chair on eBay and 10-4 that $900 is just an asking price... I (and I think my wife) also agree on keeping the original finish but that decision is outside my pay-grade / up to SWMBO...

As I'm sure you've checked, there's not much old LL that's actually sold, and what little has sold was all under $125. It's mostly hampers in the $50-$75 range!
JMHO, of course, but if selling (and assuming original finish), I'd try for $250 on the desk/chair and $100 for the table... and just see what interest there is. I'd also include mention of the Heywood-Wakefield connection. (I could be way off in pricing, it's really just a guess, and a statement of what I might do.)
