I just purchased this little print to add to my collection. The image is 4 1/4 x 6 1/4"
It is just one page from a book published by Wakasaya Yoichi titled Jidai Kagami. Illustration by Utagawa Kunisada. I am not sure of the date. Maybe late 1850's?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I think it is the title of a novel, it translates as "Mirror of the Ages". It was probably published several times, with different artists designing the artwork for each one.

This is from the Utagawa Kunisada version:

"A novel based on the Kaga Sodo. The Kaga Sodo was a family disturbance that occurred in the Kaga domain during the Edo period."

    Published between 1855 and 1883.
Kunisada was no longer working after 1865.
    That narrows it down.
Thank you @stracci and @Any Jewelry

"There is a bit of somewhat contradictory information about the authorship of these volumes on page 222 in James King's Japanese Woodblock Prints: Artists, Publishers and Masterworks 1680-1900: "Wakasaya was also engaged in publishing illustrated books. In 1855, he started to produce the first volumes of the serial novel. “Northern Snows, a Gorgeous Tale and Mirror of Our Times” (Hokusetsu bidan jidai kagami), his most successful publication. Written by Tamenaga Shunshō (1822–1886), it was first illustrated by Kunisada, then by then by Kunisada II and Ginkō, the last volume appeared in 1882." "
