    I am fairly certain that the large pink stone is glass, but I wanted to get confirmation from more learned folks. ;):happy::happy:

    The stick pin is 2 3/4" top to bottom. The top measures 7/8" top to bottom by 1" across.

    There are no marks.

    I think it might be porphyr glass. If I am wrong someone will correct me.

    The "stone" looks like 3/4's of a marble.

    The pin reminds me of a pink lady with an elaborate jeweled hat! Very nice.

    Thanks to everyone!! :happy::happy::kiss::kiss:

    I thought it might be appealing even though it is not a brooch. :smuggrin::smuggrin:

    As others said, pure costume. Classic stick pin, oddly enough, since the design looks early 60s but stickpins didn't come back until the late 70s.

    It's very much in the stye of Miriam Haskell jewelry. The gold stamped back piece look very much like what was used on her pieces. The style was widely copied but Haskell usually has an oval cartouche on the back.
    I suspect those faux pearls were replaced at some point because they have holes in them for stringing and its original pin cover is gone as well.

    If it was made as part of a set, the pearls could be original. They probably are replacements for something that fell out, but factories did odd things sometimes.
