Is this a Turkish Kilim? Or something else?

    Measures 10’6” x 2’8”.
    The people I bought it from said it was a camel saddle. Thanks for any help at all. Age?

    Possibly camel saddlebags that have been unpicked and sewn together.

    Looks like the weave is soumak, rather than kilim. Soumak is a tighter weave, ideal for saddlebags and other items that have to be sturdy.
