19th century French wine glass?

    Bought 2 of these glasses yesterday

    Thought it could be a mark, but the other glass doesn't have this, so apparently just a scratch...:rolleyes:

    I found 2 sites with identical glasses. Both indicating they're 19th century glasses, and one saying they're French. Is that correct?

    It’s a tool mark where the rod was snapped and then the glass cut. Might be English. Early nineteenth.
