Featured unknown artist, pottery busts

Hello everyone, it has been a while since i last posted but been busy. I have in my possession two character busts and they are both signed. But i can´t find anything about these busts and would like to know who the maker is.

 

Can't find anything with that name, but it looks like WJ Prins.
And the busts remind me of Popeye

 

Gurning is the keyword for these i think, if you can believe it they used to have gurning competitions here...........hideous and creepy all at the same time........so the brits loved it...

will take off again soon over here as no one can afford dentistry anymore

are these busts proffesional done or are they made in a pottery course?
