Need help w/ seed bead flapper length necklace please.

    I don't think it goes back that far. The style was around in the 80s and probably in the 50s and 70s too.

    I think it is more modern as well, 20th century, but later half. Used to see these around thrift stores (in the good old days when thrifts used to put out jewelry...) I think these necklaces were popular 1980's/90s.

    Mine in the link above does have some similarities, but brass metal beads and a backing which almost looks like leather. It's a bit odd honestly.

    Nice color on this. Iridescent beads catch the light nicely!

    Would it have been made in the same way? The beads definitely don't go along in a straight line; they are lined up in a twisted fashion.

    it looks like it. My neighbor had something similar made of costume beads from the mid-1970s. The design was around for a while.
