    Hello community!!
I stuck with this jug and looking for help. 13 cm to the top of the handle. Lovely shape and pattern.
Please share your opinion where is the best place to looks for similar items? Or maybe you recognise this shape or pattern?

Could it be oriental by the way? This shape makes me crazy

It is either Japanese or Asian-inspired. The 'potties' will know.

Thank you! That what I thought because of shape mostly. But pattern looks like more British to me.

It is possible it is Aesthetic period, when there were a lot of East Asian inspired designs and motifs.

    IMG_3325.jpeg Hello again!
I have one more question here. I tried to look up for marks again. To find any signs of old marks.. and there is a text under uv light. I use uv light to find cracks, and some hidden details by the way. But here is clear text, made with brush. It is impossible to read without uv. So it was added before firing process and after that disappeared. what do you think this could be? First impression is W.CESTER. But it is kinda weird.
Also I think there is shape of the 1820’ Derby mark in red circle.

Or WCE 35 ED? I love mystery and those kind of investigations so much

Another suggestion - WCE stands for William Corden the Elder. He was Derby painter till 1820. And 35 is his painter or gilder number? I never met this kind of markings before. So we have something to discuss

Well, I don't know enough about late 18th/early 19th c porcelain to say. It could be early Derby but that handle is giving me pause. I think that it needs someone with expertise in that area. There is the British Pottery and Porcelain Discussion group on Facebook. Someone there might be able to help.

Thank you! By the way I posted it there. No really helpfull.
Yesterday I contacted Derby Porcelain Society about this. So we will see, I'll share update. Also found another reference in VA - https://collections.vam.ac.uk/item/O308049/bottle-derby-porcelain-factory/
Maybe I am dreamer, but I like to find answers. As collector and dealer, it is always good to keep educating.

Probably last update - message from Derby Porcelain Society
    Hello Lavrentii,

    Thanks for sending the images.

The pattern is one I recognise, as is the shape, though it is a little unusual to be unmarked. I think it can be attributed to Derby, with a date of c.1825-30.

I can't read the letters and numbers you tell me about but don't think they are significant. There was a period in recent times where people marked their valuables with their postcode in an a way only visible under certain light conditions as a security. I'm wondering if that may be the answer here?

I hope this information is helpful, please understand that it is only an opinion taken from the photos you have sent me.

Very good! I am surprised with that date that there isn't a Derby mark. Cool.
