Featured Kangxi marked Hexagonal vase

    Hi Katherine, cool vase ! especially love the guy fish surfing :woot:

    i get the general impression its a republic period piece and not old old

    and seen some really nice examples from that period as well

    the base looks convincing for age to be honest, but going by the rest i think not.
    could be very wrong of course so wait for others people opinions as well ;)

    I agree, it is likely RoC period.

    I agree with the others and would lean towards early Republic.
    Very nice vase. I would have snatched it right up.

    I 5th Republic. Definitely some age but not a great deal. If not republic then a good early copy of republic. Although I’m not sure how old copies of republic era pottery get. It’s an era that didn’t get super desirable to collectors until there were no other eras to pick from.

    I agree, interest in RoC ceramics is very recent. They did make some beautifully detailed hand painted ceramics though.
