Featured Glass signature

Charity shop buy. 4inches tall, 6 inches diameter so I think it’s a bit too big for perfume. Missing a stopper if it is. Presume it’s for flower/s? Can’t make out the signature at all, not even sure which way is up! Thanks for any help.

 

It’s more ridged in texture and iridescent than above pics show.

 

As a guess it may be an oil lamp, missing its wick/glass support.

Yes, I saw a similar piece and shape except for the signature.

 

it only looks right the other way house, all the others and my brain goes.......nope !

 

a super buy for 3 squid, we all know how terrible glass signatures are, so better off looking at the glass itself

I also agree it's an oil lamp. And it might be an artisan piece. I saw these frequently for sale at our annual artisan fair (Winterfair, it's called, first weekend in December).

 

Chinese wouldn't sign a piece of art glass. I think the first name could be Tom. I just looked at all of the art glass signed Tom on eBay. I had no idea there were so many!!!!!

 

Thanks for looking! I’m going to try and find a fitting so it can be used as an oil lamp and if that’s not possible it will look nice with a big flower in it.
