Featured Gioielleria - 750 Coral Set

Hi all, I hope that you are each well.

I picked up a few little bits today, including the below set. Does anyone know much about this necklace and bracelet? Both clasps are stamped 750 and they came in a box of Gioielleria Marti Via C. Alberto, 12 ALGHERO. When I looked online, it does seem that this jeweller in Italy specialises in coral. Any notable information about the set and / or maker would be much appreciated.

18 carat gold, fairly modern clasp, Mediterranean coral. Would not have been cheap. Sicily and Sardinia are full of lovely jewellery shops.

Ask me how I know this.

 

Oh, and MArti is a Catalan name. The Catalans ruled both islands for a while.

It is lovely.

 

I may have accidentally strayed into a few such establishments on Sicily and Sardinia in my time…..

 

Oh, and she's addicted to sparkly and "ooh pretty' wearables. I have similar problems.

 

The necklace beads appear to have round circles or holes on the top? Is that what they are, or are they just reflections?

Moi aussi. The beads are roughly faceted & highly polished, so lots of scope for reflections. But in places they do look like little dimples.

Oh, so the necklace beads are spherical? Either way, I see a lighting fixture, not blemishes.
