Keep trying - would love to see a photo ! In the Toronto area kijiji is the most used online selling site.
    Registration is very easy.
Unfortunately, it's so well used ads are quickly buried.
craigslist is not nearly as used by sellers or looked at by buyers,
but then, your ad remains visible for longer. Registration there
is also simple. Other sites are marginal at best, although I
can't speak for the Facebook platforms.

I received a Housier painting in 1964 as a wedding gift. It is an Austrian mountain scene. A friend many years ago even named the mountains but I don't remember the name.

Hello everyone. I just picked up this gorgeous H. Housier painting at auction in Ontario, Canada. It's even more beautiful in person. I was drawn to the people and their clothing.

I was trying to find more info on the artist when I came across this thread. Thank you all for contributing!

A decorative painter, I would think.

But good enough for Jazz. :joyful: ( @Jazz Not taking a poke at you, just riffing on an expression much hated by my jazz critic ex-boyfriend.)

    "... jazz critic ex-boyfriend." Now that's intriguing.
