Change of pace! No antiques, just dogs. Say hello (again?) to our Boston Terriers, Ellie and Bixby. Just spreading the love!

    Well, you've started something now.

Here is our Siberian Husky / Weimaraner mix (confirmed by a DNA test) -

And this one (waiting at the vets). We have no idea what he is -

Love Bostons, my best friend growing up had one named Clancy Patrick.

Here is our poor Socks. We adopted her when her owner, my sister, passed away in 2021. We lost Socks to kidney failure a month ago :sorry::sorry::sorry::sorry::sorry:

She was a very sweet girl and a daily reminder of my sister who I miss terribly.

I have an old cat, but these doggie photos are lovely!

I have 2 old cats, both asleep on the desk top now, as usual, so I'm typing with the keyboard in my lap, as usual.

Well of course! My last cat didn't do laps unless she really, really wanted something, and then she'd only stand on my lap and not sit on it. A mouse sat on it once. Started the cwap out of him (and me) when I moved!

You were the bestest girl, Socks.

Maybe he brought you the mouse, then did that thing where they sit on something they've been batting around, then jump up, acting surprised that it's under them.

There have been times, both with these two & in the past when I have sometimes had more than two, that I have had to type with one hand while holding the keyboard up with the other because desk & lap were occupied. I don't know how I got through grad school.

The mouse and that cat's timelines didn't overlap. I guess I was sitting so still that the mouse figured I was just a warm place to sit. He made a six foot leap outta there, but landed in my trap eventually. Rest in Landfill, mouse.

I know Ellie & Bixby are both treated like royalty, and they should be!!:smuggrin::smuggrin:

We have been without a dog in the house for almost 3 years now. I so miss petting fur whenever I feel the need. :(:(

I have 2 mouse pads with cushioned wrist rests that work much better as cat beds with pillows. They have shown me that.

Oh how I miss my little poodle. He has been gone over 30 years and remembering him still gives me joy.
