    Between Monterey,Carmel,Pacific Grove,Big Sur the incredible influx of artists and writers make it a truly blessed place (except for the NA's after the Spanish Invasion).
    Not sure-but it may be right up there with Taos & Santa Fe in US cultural small-town history ?
