Can anyone tell me about this ? My parents were Serious Antique Collectors and had a basic Museum in our house. I have this chair I have been saving, but now I may sell it. Any help is much appreciated.

    Welcome!
From the single photo provided, I'm afraid the chair doesn't look like much to me. The upholstery looks quite 1990s and in very poor condition. My initial impression is of a chair that would be placed curbside, if mine. :sorry:
But perhaps things might look more promising if you show some more detailed photos: the back, the legs, the underside, etc. That said... this forum is not really meant to be used for valuations. However, some members are willing to share what they feel they may achieve for a similar item in their area. If value is what you are interested in, it's very dependent on location. This is an international forum, it would help if you mention where you live. It also depends on how you intend to sell... FB Marketplace, etc? Shipping furniture is rarely worth it.
Also, it is preferred that you please post your photos full size, rather than as thumbnails:

Thank You ! It was reupholstered in maybe 1981. It is supposedly mid 1800s. I appreciate your reply

Once a nice, comfy chair, but unfortunately you couldn't give it away in my area.

Def need more photos. Barring that, however, and even assuming that it is an antique, @Any Jewelry is correct, although it may have been a comfy chair, it is in poor condition and you couldn't give it away in my area, either. FYI chairs in general are consistently overvalued among their owners, and even when they sell they sell for less than the owners hoped for, time after time.

I wish the news were better, but we're conveying the truth here.

Even if it is mid-19th century, it really would not have value beyond its utility. The frame would be better than a modern chair but upholstery would be more expensive than the ultimate value. Maybe worth doing if you want a good chair for yourself and plan to keep it forever. It would need to be 18th century or earlier to possibly have any real value.
