hi folks, 2 things from the hoard

the eagle has photo'd rather well actually, and suppose its got more to do with the feel of it (as an eagle) rather than fineness

the glass beads i'm not to sure on (just the glass looked nice)

the sun came out for them (or me) just when i wanted it to :playful: (ish), so gave them a nice touch

    any thoughts on any, welcome

Your eagle carving looks like the style of ironwood carvings originated by Seri-Comcaac Indians of Northern Mexico. While there are still Native carvers, once their works became popular other Mexicans began producing similar carvings, and in large quantities.

Ironwood/Olneya Tesota/palo fierro is native to the Sonora Desert. Dense and slow growing, it resembles ebony. Earlier carvings that I have seen are typically dark in color. The Seri-Comcaac select wood from trees that are dead, which may account for the darker color. Many more recent carvings seem to be lighter in color like your eagle, although still described as ironwood. I suspect the commercialization of the craft has led to living trees being harvested, and perhaps the use of different woods.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mexic...tesota is the slowest, the density of its wood.

The necklace is a beauty. It looks Art Deco Czech to me.
Let's page @Ownedbybear to be sure, she knows more about costume than I do.

It's Czech for certain; those black spacer discs are diagnostic. Deco in style too. It doesn't have a clasp that I can see, but the metal pieces used make me wonder if it's newer. Those look like eye pins.

We all think from our own reference, that is normal. For you Mexican is closer to home, so it comes to mind more easily. And there is a resemblance.
