Featured Wall Hanging Clothes Brush Set

    Started by buying one item (magic lantern with glass slides) from a seller, and then I saw another interesting item, and another one, etc. In the end the box with the items I bought from this seller weighed 12.5kg :rolleyes: And 2 other items will follow separately as they were too heavy to be sent with the fragile items in this first box...

    One of the items in the first delivery was this set:

    I had never seen a brush set shaped like this, and couldn't resist adding it to the purchase order. :D

    I can't find anything similar with Google (Lens), Your thoughts please :)

    I would say leaf shaped or tear droplet.
    Hammered copper but I prefer to call it planished.
    Under the copper on the brushes it will be filled with cement or bitumen.

    Good thing you did. It is Amsterdam(se) School, late 1910s-1930ish.
    Unfortunately Amsterdamse School copperwork doesn't alway fetch the prices wooden items, jewellery and furniture do, but there is interest in it.

    No one here would even know what it was. I'm a copper girl and it's cool, but that's all I'd know too.

    I bet that's a his 'n' her set, with the larger brush designed for a male's hand and the smaller for a female's.
