ok some more info : vases are located in europe. I'm from europe. I collect vases (and other things) . I bought them years ago on an antique market. So no information available. They are around 20 cm high. I think the are not from the 20th century, but way older OR fake when looking at the base. I never saw those markings. But the circle around the markings feels not ancient. So it can be a fake reproduction. Also the glaze is not nicely done at the bottom. This is a trick to let something look old... I don't know.

a close up of the marks would be helpful, meanwhile..... go to Gotheborg dot com...

I know the site. Nothing there. The vases are in a box on the attic :angelic:. So i need to search them. Does what I posted earlier make any sense?

    Welcome silen.
Are your vases really asymmetrical, or is that the photos?

The quality looks like European Imari, but the type of mark looks 20th century Chinese, rather than Japanese. The off centre placement of the mark also says 20th century to me.

But I'll tag our Japanese porcelain specialist for you, @916Bulldogs123 .:)

Some clear picture would help in identification. I agree with @Any Jewelry. they look early 20th Century. a clear picture of the mark would help determine Japanese or Chinese.

the vases are symmetric. Bad photo, I know.
So yeah we can (almost) conclude that they are not old.
Thanks guys for your help. I don't know anything about Japanese or Chinese vases. But I do have some beautiful European ones. When I have time, I'll post some pictures.

FWIW, I think they are either Chinese or southeast Asian, and maybe not all that early in the 20th c.

Looking forward to photos of your other vases!
