    Hello,

This pair of candlesticks were sold as 'Georgian' on eBay.co.uk

Are they Georgian? If not, what age are they?

    Appreciate your help.

    Thanks

Well they started using "made in" around the 1890s so they arent "Georgian" in the strictest sense of the word . Maybe they meant Georgian style ? Id guess around 1900 give or take a decade.

    I would say Georgian style.
Probably from the 1930's maybe even later, due to the Nut & Bolt and "Made in England"

Seconded - the Made in England mark was (mostly) added after 1890 to satisfy USAian import/export laws. It wouldn't have been there in 1790 and most likely not even in 1880.

I agree with 20th century and likely 1920s or later (definitely not Georgian, nor even Victorian).
When it came to items exported to the US, the 1891 McKinley Tariff Act required the country of manufacture to be listed, so "England" began to appear. A 1921 amendment to the Act required that the phrase "Made in" precede the country of origin and "Made in England" became a common and standard marking on goods.
FWIK, countries often followed these standards even when the item wasn't particularly meant for export to the US.
