Featured Seeking Info on Peter Broome

    When I acquired this ring a number of years ago there was very little about this jewelry designer online. Another ring...in silver. But no information about the artist, Peter Broome. The other day we looked again and there were many examples of his work to look at... DSCN0269.JPG DSCN0270.JPG DSCN0271.JPG DSCN0272.JPG DSCN0273.JPG DSCN0274.JPG DSCN0275.JPG DSCN0276.JPG but still no info on the man, except that he worked in San Francisco, California and is a noted modernist. All the examples we found were silver. Ours is gold. Any thoughts on our ring or any information about the artist would be greatly appreciated.

    The California Digital Newspaper Collection has information on Peter Broome. He and his wife were the managers of Many Hands art gallery in Tiburon. One article, dated March 13, 1958, mentions their jewelry work in silver and gold.
