Featured when i say tiny......!

hi folks, picked up these and a few other types in the same shop today as the bowl

Those are very cool. I picked this postage stamp sized painting, because we had a huge one of the same snow river setting.

Have you ever seen Naoto Hattori's work? He's AMAZING. All of his work is miniature. The following piece is roughly 2" x 3".

 

postage stamp size is a about right mate, nearly used that term myself

....no never heard of but will have a look into

 

i'm pretty sure its this guy (was a book illustrator) and if its not by him

he's an artist @bosko69
would dig.................

.............and he's one of lifes special (small) people if i remember correctly

Painting something that small, that well, is a very good trick.

 

Very fine. Atmospheric, good design. I have a soft spot for watercolorists who know when to stop.

I really dig those, Ches, ole pal. The matting on the WCs is done right with the larger bit on the bottom

Great stuff Chas. The minis are superb-almost thought at first that they were masterful tiny woodblock prints. The wee bit of writing visible looked like some type of Japanese or Chinese.
Obviously the mushroom piece takes me back to my golden (blurred) adolescence.His 60's graphic work is high level hip-check the Hendrix piece.
His psychedelic work reminds me of the graphic design UK firm 'Hapshash and the Coloured Coat'
