This will be a heirloom, except it's just me and my wife. What stunning workmanship.

To top it off, he sent me these photos with the backdrops. I have to print each of these.

If she wears it at all, it'll be at dinners on the Disney Destiny next year. All you do on a cruise is eat and eat some more. This ship has a Haunted Mansion themed bar. That's where I'll be every night.

I collect old photos of kids. But, I can't stand them in real life.

A Disney cruise is one of the better cruises we have been on! Without kids. Enjoy & I hope she wears it.

This will be our fourth Disney cruise. We went on the first ship on the tail end of them being completely in command of how things work. Then twice on the first ship with the water slide and fireworks show. This one is for the Haunted Mansion Bar. It's always fun, and the food is very good. I'd love to take a cruise to Europe like everyone did in the old days. If they ever finish the new Titanic, I'd love to be on that. But, we'd have to sell our house to afford a 3rd class cabin.

I know that is going to be over the top expensive. Have you been on a Virgin cruise? I was looking at them.

I’ve done Holland America a lot. They’re not what they once were, the bloody accountants and cost cutting.

I’d love to do Virgin, it’s gloriously camp and huge fun. The last cruise I managed was Carnival. Less pretentious than HAL, and PARTYYYYYY!

I'm not much of a cruise person. We are very much Disney old people. BUT, we still get around much quicker than most. We know all the short cuts in the parks and rides.

If Virgin went from the US to the UK, I would do that. It's getting my wife to agree.

The new Titanic for it's maiden voyage will be only the mega rich. It's supposed to have been done years ago, and I don't think they're even close, so whoever's venture this is, probably ran out of money, and now has to raise more.
Party as long as you don't fall overboard. I take a pill every day to not feel the boat. The first time I had to leave dinner one night I felt so sick. But, I made up for it.

I find they're much more tolerable once they're over the age of six. The old adage that seven is the age of reason really does seem to be true. :playful:

Maybe it's where I live. But, kids run rampant in the stores. Young kids scream and cry. In reality, it's not really the kids fault. It's the parents who think they're misbehaving kids should be adored and put up with by everyone else. I can't tell you how many nice restaurants we've gone to where the kids are screaming, and the parents don't do a thing.

We were in a bar restaurant that had two old pianos completely out of tune. It was during the day, and we had burgers and beer. The kids were banging on the pianos while the rest of family ate away. When we asked the waitress if the parents could get the kids to stop banging on the keys, she said "No. We're a family friendly restaurant." That was the last time we went there. Thankfully they went out of business.
THANK YOU! My wife better like it as much. I'm sure she will.

I thought I'd update this. Because it's cool. I tried getting a velvet box for the necklace, and that seemed off. Then I thought of the book at the beginning of Disney's Snow White. They made boxes that look like the book. All the ones I was finding were expensive. Then I did a search and this one popped up, and it's PERFECT.

It's perfect. Who is the maker of the box? Can't quite read it, but a competitor of Incolay. Have you made your lady solemnly swear not to look on this site?

It's pretty heavy. I think it was probably sold in the Parks in the 80s or early 90s. I'd swear we saw it when we first started going to Disney. But, didn't buy it. Though technically, we have so much Disney CRAP that's stored away, we might have one.

    The sticker says
Made of Genuine Cameonyx (pressed stuff)
    From the STONEQUARRRY
    Made in the USA

Made in the USA is weird for a Disney Parks product, since almost everything is made in China, really cheap.

It's a perfect box for this. There is a much more common Snow White and 7 Dwarfs one. There's dozens on ebay, and they're cheaper. This is the only one of this style that showed up, so I made an offer to the seller, and they accepted.

Early (eek!) Disneyland merch was made in the USA or Japan. Only pieces from the last 30 or so years were done in China. My mom was going through some stuff and tossing circa 1980 ride/ticket books for Disneyworld. I pulled them out of the trash, one was mine, and gave them to a Disney-addict friend ...who handled then like they were gold. Most of the A tickets were there; those were for the coasters, and my late dad hated them.
