Help me date this old burled table please

It looks like something my grandfather would have done too. He was an adult when the Depression started and raised broke, and he made new things out of old things when he found pieces.

 

The top slab and pieces connected by the metal on the corners are not an mish mash of pieces; they were cut together and the saw marks clearly show that. The legs don’t seem to match the rest of the table. There are literally 10 different types of nails in this piece over various repairs

 

look at this hand wrought nail i just pulled out of it. This clearly. dates to before 1800 or even before then. This is just one of many types of hand wrought nails in this piece

There are similar handwrought nails, only much smaller, in the frame of an early 20th century Cuzco School (Revival) painting I own.

 

A nail like that, in that condition, having been in a primitive piece a long time, should have left a significant rust ring around the head in the wood. Can we see where it was pulled from? Would also like to see any other old nails such as this that have not been pulled.
