Google and a friend on f b say Kutani, but i am not totally convinced.
Plate is 7" eggshell porcelain. Transfer with some hand painting.
    thanks for looking.

I’d also vote Kutani. They used red the most in addition to it looking Kutani kind of, and unlike anything else totally. Definitely a unique looking decoration. I’ve never seen one done like that. Neat find.

To me this has more of a Satsuma vibe...the mark doesn't look like typical Kutani mark to me. I'm just a guy who doesn't know much though, so im likely wrong.

Bit of a mish mash to me. At a first glance the decor looks like satsuma. The small panels with geometric shapes within. On the reverse though the ceramic looks more like kutani. Satsuma is heavier earthenware. The red isn't a shade that I've seen on kutani before. It's usually more of a burnt orange. Maybe it's just trying to be Japanese...

Thank you all very much. The plate is porcelain. Almost eggshell thin and transparent. I'm leaning towards a sloppy Kutani mark at this point.

    • The mark, when rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise and read vertically, looks like 織田 製, meaning "made by Oda".
    • "Oda" is a Japanese family name.
    • The mark is typically found on Kutani ware, a style of Japanese porcelain.
    • Kutani ware is known for its vivid, dark colors and lavish aesthetics.
The above is from Google Lens (AI). I take anything from there with a large grain of salt, but if it's porcelain, then kutani.

You nailed the most important point. It’s pure white porcelain. Satsuma is creamy/beigey heavier earthenware. Can’t be Satsuma.
