The upper surface is 11 5/16" long by 2 1/4" wide; weight is 12 5/8 oz. It seems to have been polished an' perhaps even plated (pics 2 & 4) at one time, although there is no evidence of plating on other surfaces. The feet are ground, so it sits dead-flat. The peg holes are ~1/8" diameter on the top, tapering to ~3/32" on the back...there were no pegs with it when I got it ~40 years ago.
I'm about to give it to my daughter, who has just begun playing cribbage; I no longer do, so have no further need. I've tried Google images in hopes of finding one like it, but without success.
Can any of you offer clues as to where, when, an' by whom it was produced? I'll be most grateful for all your comments, an' thank you for lookin'!

I've found that there is a Cribbage Board Collectors Society group on FB...but I'm not a FB member.

FB can be very useful, but you wanna create a foolproof alias/phony identity-who needs odd bits of our past poppin' in ?
Re-The Cribbage piece,I assume you've scoured it visually for teensy Patent #'s/dates ?

Nah...the holes aren't sharp on the edges because they were cast-in! All other features show the same sophistication in the apparent 2-part mold...this is not crudely done at all.

Like everyone else, I signed up to FB early...an' spent an unduly miserable amount of time extracting myself from Zuckerberg's steely clutches...Never Again!

Correct, Bosko...every surface has had sharp inspection under the 10X loupe...Nada!

    Not everyone.;)

I signed up a few years ago, only to follow Monash Uni updates about the diet for my IBD.

Ditto-Use of FB judiciously can connect you with some actual experts, course you've got to exercise critical judgement in figuring who's dispensing actual curated science and who's bloviating.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Seems like it doesn't have the right number of holes to be a cribbage board. Most boards have multiples of 60 holes, with possibly an extra one. (Currently the game is usually played for each player to go 121 holes, with the extra hole at the end for only one player.) The game is usually played with two people, although some boards have more tracks for extra players. If I counted correctly, this board has 219 holes, which doesn't divide by 60. BUT there are so many variations in boards that it would be best to ask experts.
